Carlo Ancelotti é o novo técnico da seleção brasileira. A CBF confirmou oficialmente a contratação do treinador italiano no final da manhã desta segunda-feira (12).
Carlo Ancelotti vai comandar o Brasil até a Copa do Mundo de 2026 e treina o Brasil nos dois próximos jogos pelas Eliminatórias diante do Equador e Paraguai, no próximo mês.
“Trazer Carlo Ancelotti para comandar o Brasil é mais do que um movimento estratégico. É uma declaração ao mundo de que estamos determinados a recuperar o lugar mais alto do pódio. Ele é o maior técnico da história e, agora, está à frente da maior seleção do planeta. Juntos, escreveremos novos capítulos gloriosos do futebol brasileiro,” afirmou Ednaldo Rodrigues, presidente da CBF.
